Hilda Conkling (1910 - 1986) was an American poet. She is noted for having composed most of her poetry between the ages of four and ten. Her poetry is about nature, love of her mother, daydreams, or books that pleased her. Poems By a Little Girl was published in 1920. The poems in this collection are presented by the author's age.
