Not too much going on here as far as plot, but the touch-and-feel aspects are well imagined. I liked them inclusion of Velcro as a stand in for the scratchiness of a genuine Christmas tree and the fact that the final spread offers readers a chance to pet Splat's belly is perfect. Recommended for sharing with babies and toddlers.
