John Gail didn't like the photographs his Chief showed him. They were mostly of young girls. One was naked, 14 years old, lying on a bed, dead. So was the next. One was of a boy and a girl in each other's arms, also dead. The fourth was of a teenager hanging by his neck from a rafter. The last two were of girls with crazed eyes.
Narcotics.
Gail was sent on a dangerous sea-trip, with another girl who was very much alive. His orders were to bust this ugly and vicious racket.
That is, if the racket didn't bust him first...!
