A fun and quirky poem based on Proverbs 13:4 about the importance of diligence--for ages 8 and under When two caterpillows begin spinning their cocoons, one becomes lazy and decides life would be much more fun if he spent his time playing instead of working. He discovers too late, however, that a caterpillow has to finish his work before the nineteenth of Maquerk to successfully change into a butterfly. In its fun and quirky way, the story shows kids that having fun sometimes needs to take a backseat to more important things--and that being responsible has its own rewards. Without hard work, there would be no butterflies--and we'd be up to our elbows in caterpillows. This charming poem is loosely based on the Promiseland(R) Metamorphosis curriculum.
